Pandrol FASTCLIP SFC

Pandrol FASTCLIP SFC baseplates are designed for use on wet pour top down slabs, pre-cast blocks, sleepers or plinths.

The Pandrol Fastclip SFC baseplate system is a single resilient baseplate which has been designed to easily transfer the advantages of the Pandrol Fastclip system to slab track applications. The design allows full advantage to be taken of the Pandrol Fastclip captive fastening system, making it an ideal product for non-ballasted trackforms offering high levels of vertical and lateral adjustment.

Pandrol SFC baseplates can be used for both new track and to refurbish existing slab track to improve the alignment and management of the track gauge.

  • The Pandrol SFC System is an indirect baseplated fastening system suitable for all types of track, providing a high level of lateral adjustment without the need to replace components. Vertical adjustment, typically up to 30 mm is provided through shims under the baseplate.

    The system is available in three variants:

    • 2-Hole Offset Baseplate for medium axle load or shallow curve applications
    • 2-Hole In-Line Baseplate for medium axle load or shallow curve applications
    • 4-Hole Baseplate is designed for installation on slab-track with high axle loads, tight curves, or where compatibility with 4-Hole Pandrol VIPA or Pandrol VANGUARD Baseplates is required.

     

  • Why Fastclip?

    The Pandrol Fastclip system is a resilient, threadless rail fastening system with the unique Pandrol switch on-switch off system that enables fast and efficient track installation resulting in lower installed and life cost benefits.

    As a threadless system Fastclip is ideally suited to an environment where time for maintenance is limited and where the integrity of the fastening system is crucial for safety. The unique shape of the Fastclip installed perpendicular to the rail provides the opportunity for high speed remote track inspection, and the threadless design of the fastening, minimises the requirements for maintenance.

  • The Fastclip SFC System is suitable for LRT/Metro projects where high levels of vibration isolation is not a requirement or where vibration isolation is provided under the concrete track form

  • Adjustment

    Lateral adjustment is possible through elongated holes and serrated washers typically +/- 15 mm per rail. Vertical adjustment of + 30 mm is typical, for higher levels of adjustment please contact us.

  • Pre-Assembly

    The Pandrol SFC assembly can be delivered fully pre-assembled on the pre-cast element or just on the baseplate for installation at site enabling rapid installation and construction of the system.

  • Stiffness

    Stiffness is provided in 1 level under the rail typically more than 40 kN/mm.

  • Electrical Insulation

    High levels of electrical resistance are achieved through 2 levels of insulation.

  • The Fastclip SFC System is suitable for Main Line projects where high levels of vibration isolation is not a requirement or where vibration isolation is provided under the concrete track form

  • Adjustment
